Construction SWPPP
Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority/ Red Bluff Pumping Plant and Fish Screen Project
West Bay Builders/ Bureau of Reclamation
VESTRA is currently preparing a construction SWPPP for the Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority’s Red Bluff Pumping Plant and Fish Screen project. The project involves construction of a canal structure, bridge, and siphon across Red Bank Creek and removal of a portion of a landfill adjacent to the Sacramento River. VESTRA is working closely with the RWQCB and the contractor to ensure that sediment-laden stormwater runoff does not enter the Sacramento River and Red Bank Creek. The project is currently under construction and will be completed by June 2011. VESTRA prepared the plan to comply with the current General Order and also the new General Order, which went into effect July 1, 2010. VESTRA is a Qualified SWPPP Developer and Practitioner.
