VESTRA worked with Fall River RCD staff to conduct watershed assessments and develop watershed management plans for the Fall River, Hat Creek, and Burney Creek watersheds. The project included initial interviews with public members and stakeholders, outreach on problems within the three watersheds, and a number of public meetings to develop strategic game plans for each separate watershed. The primary purpose of the documents is to serve as a guide for development of ecosystem improvements and was developed using available data, previous work by others, and other information available to the Fall River RCD. The project identified several goals, management objectives for those goals, and strategies that include recommendations for projects and other actions to address those concerns.
