VESTRA has assisted numerous clients with Clean Water Act section 402 or National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting and compliance. For example, our firm was retained by the California Farm Bureau Federation (CFBF) to provide technical support to CFBF attorneys during the evaluation of agricultural waiver requirements. CFBF drew on our staff expertise in water quality, law, and regulation, especially with the NP DES and point strategies, to assist them in developing rebuttals to the proposed regulations and to provide alternative, more palatable solutions.

Due to our knowledge of and experience with NPDES and other clean water regulations, we also speak on this topic at educational forums.
