Since 2003 VESTRA Resources, Inc. has sponsored scholarships to students in Shasta County. VESTRA offers scholarships to support the development of qualified candidates in the careers of math, natural or physical sciences, technologies, and related areas of study. The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership capabilities and participation in extracurricular activities, as well as a desire to pursue a S.T.E.M.-related career.
The Scholarship Committee was fortunate to receive a record number of strong candidates this year. After much consideration, the recipients of the 2023 VESTRA Math, Science and Technology scholarship awards are as follows:

These students are all very accomplished and outstanding representatives of their schools and communities.
